We are excited to announce the collaboration between Chicago’s 33 Contemporary Gallery and White Ripple Gallery & Co. located in Hammond, IN. Both galleries will foster innovative thinking, community engagement, and curatorial projects for the cultural advancement of the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana.

“Our partnership with White Ripple Gallery is an exciting opportunity to extend our network of collaborators. Their mission and business strategy is inline with our focus. By collaborating in a number of projects with a newly established gallery, we can share ideas and grow along side. We expect to promote the awareness of local, national and international artists to our respective communities,” said Sergio Gomez, Owner and Director of 33 Contemporary Gallery.

33 Contemporary Gallery is a Chicago-based fine arts gallery with ten years of experience. Its purpose is to represent, promote and facilitate collaborations through the gallery, online presence, mobile media and to provide the clientele (experienced and novice) with a fine selection of art works. 33 Contemporary represents local, national and international emerging and established artists working in various media.

“We are very excited to be embarking on a collaboration this year with Sergio Gomez as a guest curator and featured artist and 33 Contemporary Gallery to provide a series of professionally curated exhibits featuring both national and internationally-acclaimed artists,” said Jocelyn Prue, Owner and Director of White Ripple Gallery & Co.

White Ripple Gallery & Co. has multiple levels and show rooms presenting art ranging from established artists to new and emerging artists. Its mission is to foster creative expression and appreciation for the arts in all its forms in order to provide a positive and sustainable cultural presence in the community. The gallery, which is located in the Hessville neighborhood, also carries a selection of handmade artwork and contemporary crafts by local and regional artists and artisans including photographic prints, jewelry, crafts, ceramics and pottery, handmade glass, woodworking, fashion, and art supplies.

“Between the series of exhibits we will co-curate with Sergio Gomez and White Ripple Gallery’s calendar of events, we are bringing a series of never-before seen shows to the region,” said Prue.

To celebrate the collaboration between both galleries, a two person exhibition by 33 Contemporary Gallery artists Jennifer Cronin and Jennifer Moore will open on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at White Ripple Gallery & Co. The exhibition is co-curated by Sergio Gomez and Jocelyn Prue.
