Seven Exhibitions Not to Be Missed this Friday July 11

This is going to be a busy Friday with tons of great openings happening in and around Chicago. Here is my list of seven openings that include some of the Chicago regulars and a some that may be new to you.  There is always something for everyone in this great city. See you around town!!!

1. Linda Warren Gallery

Linda Warren Projects is pleased to present the gallery’s summer exhibition, “Bourque, Bondgren and bourbon,” a two-person collaborative exhibition featuring gallery artists Loretta Bourque and Rob Bondgren. The two artists have long been colleagues, dear friends and artistic kindred spirits, and here, their collaboration is given an official moniker of shared authorship, “bourbon” –a combination of their surnames, a reference to the uninhibited nature of their making processes, and a nod to the seedy, smoky sexiness inherent in the content that they both embrace. “Bourque, Bondgren and bourbon” features collaborative works authored by “bourbon,” as well as individual works by Bourque and by Bondgren.
