Another great day in beautiful Miami. Started the day in Wynwood documenting ZORE working on his wall. There is an incredible number of street projects going on all the time from sunrise to sundown.
Next stop was Context Art Fair which had very interesting experimental works.
Across from Context was Scope and Art Asia combined in one giant tent. It was probably one of my favorite fairs today with lots of good finds and surprises. It was good to see some Chicagoans like Hebru Brantley and Packer Schopf Gallery. Art Asia also proposed strong works.
After Scope I took the long walk to see Chicago artist Mays Mayhew at Pulse Art Fair which was presented in a beautiful and warmly accommodating space. Mays was showing works on paper. Pulse was a good small fair as well.
Lastly, I met Zore and the Chicago graffiti crew to check out alternative spaces and after hour parties in Wynwood. These guys are a great group who know the scene and can spot a party a mile away.
Great to see this! Loving the posts and images. Do you know the name of the artist whose work is the large minimalist pieces (Zore is standing in that space) if you could let me know that would be great. Thanks for the great blog!
next time, i’m coming with you !!!!!
Hi Cesar, I think you definitely need to come to Miami during Basel. This is where the opportunities happen!!!!! Think of it as an investment in your career. Sergio
